Celebrant Mentoring with #hitchedbylush:
for new and aspiring marriage celebrants
My focus is on the personable skill set required within the world of celebrancy.
Let's dive into what makes a celebrant truly exceptional.
Together we'll move beyond the essential skills you acquired during your training.
I'm here to assist you in creating strong bonds with clients and fellow professionals in the industry, whether you're a newcomer to the scene or contemplating a bold move.
If you decide to take the plunge, welcome to the next exciting chapter of your life! Hitching loved-up-couples is the best gig in the world, and I’ll be forever grateful I took the leap.
For those of you who have finished training and got the AGD approval... Congratulations! Welcome to the world of celebrancy, you're going to love it.
Reach out via email to suelushsaunders@icloud.com, I’ll send you out a quote and then we can get you celebrant’ing on your way.

What you’ll get from these mentoring sessions
Observe and learn
You'll witness how I conduct ceremonies, how I interact with a couple, their loved ones and other vendors.
Understanding Ceremony Dynamics
You'll see the flow and dynamics of a rehearsal and wedding ceremony, including how to manage timing, cues, and transitions smoothly.
Learning Ceremony Design and Personalisation
You’ll witness how I design and personalise a couple’s ceremony. Which will inspire and inform your own approach.
Handling Unexpected Situations…and there’s been a few!
You'll observe how a skilled celebrant manages surprises or difficulties that may arise during ceremonies. Teaching you flexibility and problem-solving skills.
Networking Opportunities
The chances I provide may also give you networking opportunities in the celebrant and wedding industry. These may lead to referrals or collaborations in the future.

Ask me anything
I have a no BS, no holes barred, no question is a silly question approach to mentoring……I love questions. I’ll tell you anything you want to know about the world of celebrancy and being #hitchedbylush.
Join me, I’d love to chat, support and work with you and ultimately watch you learn and grow.
Why did I become a celebrant?
I’m fascinated by people and relationships and I don't take myself too seriously.
Want to hear about my wedding day?
When I married my husband, Deft, 30 years ago, it was the best day ever.
We picked a celebrant who was real, honest, friendly, fun, chill, ready for a good time, and outright awesome. All the qualities I admire in a person.
I left my wedding day thinking, "I could do that for others - I'd love to make the art of marrying someone memorable."
Personal development
Becoming a celebrant means you will always be learning and growing. It's not only about getting certified – it's being open to learning new things every day.
There is not a day, a rehearsal, a ceremony, a client meeting, or a celebrant group chat where I do not learn something new.
